Wesley R. Furrh Jr.
President

Wes is President of Unified Field Services Corporation and has been in the pipeline, facility and station construction industry since the 1980’s. In conjunction with pipeline construction, Wes has experience in field engineering and bending, Geo-Thermal projects, horizontal directional drilling, design build projects, civil/earthwork construction, installs and safety coordination. Wes is very well respected and admired within the industry as he continually strives to supply a happy and safe environment for all of Unified’s employees to work in each and every day. He has built an extremely knowledgeable and experienced leadership team to drive Unified Field Services Corporation forward and succeed with its client base and business partners alike. Wes is an exceptional leader and drives the company in every aspect of its core values “SAFETY – QUALITY – PRODUCTION – ECONOMICS”.

Joseph G Watkins
Vice President

Joe has been in the construction industry since the early 2000’s and worked in the Oil and Gas Industry since 2008. Joe has a strong HES background and has OSHA 500 and CHST certifications. He has overseen small and large bore pipelines, facility constructions, large civil projects along many other projects. Joe has extensive experience in DOT PHMSA projects and a broad range of knowledge in the construction industry. Joe gained an Advanced Construction Award (AA equivalent) while living and studying in the United Kingdom. Joe has excellent communication skills and drives the safety culture, growth and continuous improvement at Unified Field Services Corporation.

Anthony Martinez
Operation Manager

Anthony has been part of the Oil and Gas Industry since the early 2000’s and a member of the Unified team since inception. Anthony has a very broad skill set with an innate ability to safely and successfully manage multiple projects at one time. Anthony’s areas of expertise range from rig support, drilling, workover, production and completion projects. Anthony and his team have successfully installed tens of thousands of miles of piping in both pipeline and facility construction projects. Anthony’s ability to motivate and galvanize his team members is second to none, this ability results in successful projects completed safely, on schedule and under budget.

Timothy Jacober
VP of Public Works Division

Timothy has been performing work within the construction industry since 2005 and the Oil and Gas sector since 2007. Comprehensive experience including project management, bidding, project controls, & contract management. With trade knowledge including earthwork, mechanical (pipelines & facilities), paving, abandonment, decommissioning, decontamination & demolition (DD&D). Timothy pays very close attention to detail and draws on extensive experience to troubleshoot critical path issues before they impact customer goals. Having completed projects in 6 states dealing with various regulatory agencies, Timothy brings an array of knowledge to deliver projects safely, on-time & on-budget.

Alan R Miller
Project Manager/Estimator

Alan has been performing work within the construction industry since the 1980’s and has extensive experience within Mechanical and Civil trades. Alan spent over a decade managing construction projects for various oil producers. During this time he achieved an exemplary safety and fiscal record. Alan keeps very close control of his projects ensuring they are kept on schedule, under budget and completed to the highest quality. Alan has a drive and commitment that means he looks to meet and exceed all of his client’s expectations and needs. Alan is currently a member of the Project Management Institute and in the process of gaining his Project Manager Professional Certification.

Chad Johnson
Coating Division Manager

Mr. Johnson has over 23 years of progressive experience in the Industrial Coating and Painting Industry. He possess extensive knowledge in field operations, shop operations and project management. Mr. Johnson holds certifications and memberships with NACE, SSPC, NCCER and utilizes his expertise to oversee and deliver a high-quality product safely and cost effectively. Mr. Johnson has managed industrial coating projects within a wide variety of industrial sectors including – petrochemical, food processing, hydroelectric/utilities, highways/bridges and pulp/paper mills.

David L Bigby
Civil Superintendent

David has over 4 decades of experience in Pipeline, Facility, Engineering, Building, Vertical Caisson Drilling and Installation, for Civil/Earthwork Construction. He provides comprehensive planning and work management skills. Utilizes mature decision making skills to trouble shoot and overcome complex problems while maintaining the expenditures and schedules for numerous projects. David currently holds the position of Civil Superintendent for Unified Field Services Corporation.

Matthew D Hill
Superintendent

Matt has extensive construction and industrial management experience since 2000. Matt delivers solutions to problems that require a unique combination of expertise trade knowledge and practical application. His leadership ability to train and motivate staff defines Unified Field Services Corporation and highlights why it is fast growing to become a major player in the pipeline and facility construction industry today. Matt has a keen sense of project management and planning ability from both contractor and client perspectives; always striving to deliver a turnkey project before schedule deadlines. Matt has completed many large bore pipeline projects in extremely challenging environment with exceptional quality and safety results.

JR Manasan
Superintendent

With over 15 years of extensive construction and industrial management experience. JR delivers projects of the upmost quality, safely and on schedule each and every time. JR understands client needs and strives to meet expectations and deliver turnkey projects. JR develops a great affinity with his employees resulting in outstanding results and growth from his team. JR has extensive pipeline, fiberspar and polypipe experience combined with a dirt work and heavy equipment background.

Wayne Abraham
Superintendent

Wayne has been working within the mechanical construction and welding industry since the early 1990’s. Wayne has successfully managed many large energy sector turnkey projects during this time. Some examples of these projects are Gas Plants, Water Plants, Steam Generator Settings & Dehy Plants. Wayne also has a vast amount of experience managing construction projects within Oil & Petroleum Refineries such as Hydrogen Heater re-tubes, vessel modifications/re-rates, unit expansions in addition to routine maintenance welding activity performed during annual shutdown’s. Wayne ‘s attention to details and focus on safety, quality and schedule ensure he always exceeds Unified’ s and client expectations.

Rusty Carlile
Superintendent

Rusty is a highly industrious leader that has been working in the energy industry since 1980 with the oil and gas sector of the industry being his primary area of expertise. Rusty has worked at every level of the industry which allows him to maximize his workforce by utilizing his wealth of knowledge and experience to safely and successfully complete projects. Rusty has significant experience in DOT Pipelines, new construction and maintenance repairs. In addition to pipeline experience Rusty also has a wealth of experience within the powerplants, gas plants and oil and gas processing facilities. Rusty is able to communicate project requirements to his highly skilled workforce with ease resulting in on time, under budget and incident free projects.

Scott Reynolds
Civil Project Manager

Scott has over 40 years’ experience in civil construction in the Industrial, Commercial and Oil and Gas sectors. Scott has worked in a management position of projects for over 30 years, the decades of experience he possesses seamless and safe execution of projects. Scott holds a General A and a C-8 Concrete Contractors License. Scott was a great addition to the Unified Field Services Team in 2020.

Rusty Dalton
Dirt Project Manager

Rusty Dalton began his career in the oil and gas industry in 1998, developing extensive expertise across all phases of civil construction, including drilling locations, engineered facility development, and large-scale infrastructure projects. He is highly skilled in GPS-guided construction and has spent multiple years serving as a consultant for California Resources Corporation (CRC), overseeing drilling campaigns throughout California.

Since 2004, Rusty has held leadership roles, advancing from entry-level field positions through dedication, hands-on experience, and a strong work ethic to his current position as Superintendent, a role he has held since 2021. His practical knowledge, proven leadership, and commitment to delivering safe, high-quality projects have established him as a trusted leader in the field.

Cliff Partain
Superintendent

Clif Partain began his career in the oil and gas industry in 1997 as a pipeline welder before advancing into leadership. Since 2006, he has served in supervisory roles, successfully managing projects from planning through completion. With extensive field expertise and a hands-on leadership style, Clif is committed to delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality results while building strong teams and maintaining a focus on operational excellence.

Tyler Ward
Superintendent

Tyler has been working in the oil and gas industry since 2008, gaining extensive experience in field operations, construction, project execution, and asset management. His background includes pipeline operations, smart pigging programs, oil, water, and gas facilities, gas plants, compression systems, and large-scale construction projects. Tyler has successfully managed multiple concurrent projects while providing strong field leadership across drilling, workover, pipeline, and facility construction activities. He also brings extensive well operations experience, including artificial lift systems, injection operations, and production optimization. His broad understanding of oil and gas regulations, combined with nearly two decades of hands-on experience, allows him to deliver safe, efficient, and practical solutions across the industry.

Mike Wanagitis
Superintendent

Mike Wanagitis began his career in the energy and infrastructure industry in 1997 with Southwest Contractors, where he built a strong foundation in pipeline construction before joining Plains Pipeline. During his 12-year tenure, he specialized in Department of Transportation (DOT) regulated pipeline systems, developing extensive technical expertise in the construction, maintenance, and execution of critical pipeline infrastructure.

Throughout his career, Mike has successfully managed numerous multi-million-dollar projects, including water flood systems, gas processing plants, and major DOT pipeline installations. He is a certified OQ Evaluator and University of Texas ValvePro specialist, with additional certifications in NFPA 70E, Sulzer pumping systems, positive displacement and centrifugal pumps, and safety valve maintenance.

Known for his commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence, Mike provides strong leadership while fostering collaboration among clients, contractors, and field teams. He is dedicated to delivering successful projects through careful planning, technical expertise, and a focus on achieving exceptional results.

Jose Flores
Superintendent

Jose Flores has been working in the oil and gas industry since 2010, building extensive hands-on expertise in pipeline and facility construction. Throughout his career, he has earned a reputation as a dependable leader with a steadfast commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Jose has successfully led crews on a wide range of pipeline and facility projects, working collaboratively with clients, contractors, and project teams to overcome challenges and deliver reliable results in demanding field environments. He takes pride in leading by example, fostering strong working relationships, and ensuring every project is completed efficiently while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality.

Tony Casteneda
Superintendent

Tony Castaneda began his career in 2005 as an Industrial Paint Apprentice, developing a strong foundation in industrial coatings, surface preparation, and protective coating applications. Since 2007, he has worked in the oil and gas industry in foreman and supervisory roles, providing leadership and technical expertise on a variety of industrial coating projects.

Tony brings extensive hands-on experience in industrial painting, equipment maintenance, and coating operations, with a strong understanding of field execution, quality standards, and safety requirements. He holds certifications including NACE/SSPC C-3, CIP Level 2, and OSHA 30, and has extensive experience repairing, maintaining, and operating a wide range of industrial paint equipment.

Johnny White
Project Manager

Johnny White brings a diverse background spanning multiple industries, including motorsports and oil and gas. Since entering the construction industry in 2014, he has developed extensive hands-on and leadership experience across a wide range of disciplines.

His expertise includes mechanical construction in both the AWWA water and oil & gas sectors, pipeline and facility construction, civil concrete, paving, demolition, project management, estimating and bidding, project controls, and contract administration.

Benjamin Raomero
Dirt Superintendent

Benji Romero began his career in civil dirt construction in 2005, building drilling rig locations, water treatment facilities, and a variety of infrastructure projects throughout the oil and gas industry. With over 15 years of experience in heavy civil construction, he developed extensive expertise in site development, earthwork, and project execution.

In 2022, Benji transitioned into government and public works construction, where he has successfully overseen projects including rocket test pads, baseball field complexes, and other public facilities. His broad industry experience, strong leadership, and commitment to quality make him a trusted Dirt Superintendent capable of delivering complex projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Humberto Calderon
Superintendent

Humberto Calderon brings over three decades of hands-on construction experience, with a career built through dedication, craftsmanship, and strong leadership in the field. He began his career as a field laborer in 1987, gaining valuable experience in the fundamentals of construction before advancing into finish carpentry in 1992.

In 2001, Humberto transitioned into the oil and gas industry, where he quickly established himself as a skilled and dependable professional. After obtaining his California General Building License, he advanced into foreman and supervisory roles, overseeing crews and managing complex construction activities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Throughout his career, Humberto has continued to grow as a leader in civil concrete construction, bringing extensive field knowledge, technical expertise, and proven experience managing teams and projects from start to finish. His commitment to excellence and years of industry experience make him a valuable asset in delivering successful project outcomes.

Michael R. Beaumont
Human Resources Manager

As the Human Resources Manager for Unified Field Services Corporation, Mike is a strategic partner within all key business functions. Mike holds a Master Certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of Villanova, a green belt in Six Sigma and is a Certified Professional from the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). During his professional career, Mike has accumulated 10+ years’ experience in Human Resources including; recruitment/talent management, training and employee development, HR policy improvement/compliance, payroll and implementing new HRIS programs. Mike relies on his industry knowledge and senior management skills to support day to day activities and develop long-term business goals.

Jason Green
HES manager

Jason is a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) manager with a career that began in 2011. Starting as a field representative, he has progressed to leading teams across multi-state operations. His extensive project portfolio includes assisting in the completion of pipeline construction, ground-up cogeneration facility builds, new builds and upgrades of gas, steam, and water plants, drilling packages, heavy civil projects, and representing general contractors in data center construction.

Jason brings comprehensive experience in Process Safety Management (PSM), Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPP), and multiple state OSHA plans. He excels in managing and implementing positive changes to existing programs, ensuring safety and compliance across all projects.

Juan Cruz
Coating QA/QC Manager

Juan has a wealth of experience he has developed since the early 2000’s working within the industrial coating industry. Juan has extensive experience in abrasive blasting, industrial coating and supervising on many large-scale projects within a wide variety of industries including petrochemical, food processing, hydroelectric/utilities, water, highways, bridges and paper mills. Combined with his work experience Juan holds several industry recognized certifications such as NACE level 2 CIP, SSPC C-5 and QCS. Juan is responsible for maintaining the Unified SSPC QP1, QP2 and QP3 certifications. Juan’s knowledge of his craft sis second to none and this shows in his excellent work and the respect of his team.

Matt Ortega
QC Manager

Matt has been performing work within the oil and gas industry since 1995 and has extensive experience within QA/QC aspect of the industry. He spent 5 years working for an industry leading NDT company and achieved the IRRSP certification during that time. He has extensive experience developing procedures, processes and controls to ensure all ASME codes are met along with all client required procedures. He assists in keeping very close control of projects ensuring that all work is completed to the highest quality and turned over to the client timely and accurately. He has a drive and commitment to ensure the work he is overseeing is completed to the highest standards possible, this combined with his expert knowledge of areas such as weld mapping, weld/coating inspections, hydrostatic testing, concrete testing and others ensure projects meet and exceed client expectations. He has been performing the role of Quality Control Manager since 2017.
